I originally started this blog at a turning point in my life... Hence the LARGE gap from my last post. I was in my mid-twenties, getting married, and had absolutely no idea what was in store for the years to come. I knew it was a turning point, but that is all I knew. Since then so much has transpired. So here are some fun facts:
I'm originally from upstate New York, but moved to Houston, Texas in 2010. We had an unexpected relocation to Jupiter, Florida in 2012 for my husband's job and spent four glorious years living by some of the most beautiful beaches. We made some amazing friends, had some great times, and welcomed our daughter Amelia in to the world. Florida was a magical place, but we needed to be closer to family to find balance in our lives; And so we just landed back in Houston :)
It feels good to be back, rekindling friendships, and once again finding our place. I used to be afraid of change, but now it's just an old friend. We've moved 6 times in 8 years between 3 different states!
The one thing that hasn't changed, is that life isn't always Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows... so that is why I am here. I've learned that perfection is unattainable and therefore unproductive to chase.
